Starting Thursday, May 4th, an exclusive for “ELVIS THE MUSICAL”!
L’Elvis Presley Museum will have a small exhibit of a selection of rare original objects which belonged to the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll and that were used by him.

15 objects, consisting of clothes, memorabilia and instruments, will be on display in the foyer of the theatre on May 5th, the debut of “ELVIS THE MUSICAL”, the biography of the man and the artist told in music by 18 performers and a live band.


The “Hagström” guitar
Elvis played the “Hagström” guitar on the TV show “Comeback Special 1968” (for “Trouble” and “Guitar Man”).
His jumpsuit
From the stage of the Hilton Hotel, Elvis wore this jumpsuit on stage in Las Vegas for his concerts at the “Hilton” from August 4th to September 4th, 1972 and from January 26th till February 23rd, 1973.
His military shirt from the Friedberg period (1958-1960)
After his mother’s death on August 14th, 1958, Elvis was sent to the Federal Republic of Germany to continue his military service, where he reached Kolumbus-Kai in Bremerhaven on October 1st, 1958, with the ship “USS General Randall”.
The police badge
Elvis was enthusiastic about the police and collected police badges whenever possible. He once asked the sheriff of Shelby County in Tennessee for the official deputy sheriff star with its authority.
His “Love Me Tender” shirt
Elvis bought this shirt in October, 1956 on Beale Street in Memphis. He wore it to advertise for the film “Love Me Tender”.
His last letter
On August 15th, 1977, the day before his death, Elvis wrote a letter, which was presumably his last, to a friend named Liz, in Germany.
Elvis, the Karateka
Elvis started doing karate during his military service.
Less than two weeks before the debut of “ELVIS The Musical” at the Teatro Nuovo in Milan from May 5th to 14th, the sensational confirmation that the Elvis Presley Museum has decided to have an exclusive preview of the exhibit before every show, with a selection of 15 original items that belonged to the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll and that were used by him: among these, the jumpsuit he wore during the shows in Las Vegas in 1972 and 1973, the “Hagström” guitar that he played during the “Comeback Special 1968”, one of the 5 singles released by Sun Records “Mystery Train” in 1955, various objects from his private and stage collection, the last letter written by Elvis the day before his death, on August 16th, 1977.

The exhibit is an exclusive for the audience of “Elvis The Musical”, during the 2 weeks of the show. However, anyone will also be able to see it for free on May 4th, the day before the shows start.
